Supporting Better Idea Transfer = Communication

When we communicate ideas to each other, we want them to be ...
  • Meaningful (understandable)
  • Memorable (unforgettable)
  • Noteworthy (important)

We want others to say things like ...
  • "I know what you are talking about."
  • "Yeah, I remember what you said two years ago on this topic"
  • "Wow, I am so glad you told me about this!"

As opposed to ...
  • "I have no idea what you're talking about"
  • "I'm sorry, did you say something?"
  • "And why did you just waste my time?"

(Found 'noteworthy' via a search on 'importance' at Wordnet)
