Why?

Well it's fundamentally a thinking tool,
which is then used for contemplation, communication, planning, action or assessment.

Model

Definition of Model:

A model shows how parts fit and work together.

While keeping this definition in mind, think of the following items ...

* model home
* model citizen
* model airplane

This thinking tool is unique in that it encourages the diagramming of how the components fit and work together.
It's not just a static map. It also presents how we think things act and interact.
