Seven Stages of Action

From the classic book, The Design of Everyday Things, by Donald A. Norman, on p. 48, he states that there are 7 stages of action:

Goal
Forming the goal

Execution
Forming the intention
Specifying an action
Executing the action

Evaluation
Perceiving the state of the world
Interpreting the state of the world
Evaluating the outcome

This mirrors the CLiC Process of:

1. Define
2. Produce
3. Confirm
